Holistic means treating the cause (Root) of the problem, not just the problem itself. Only then can TRUE healing take place. There is a place for everyone. Holistic means not using drugs or invasive procedures such as surgery.
However, true Holism does NOT rule out Allopathic Medicine when needed. If I had a life and death situation then I would go the allopathic route and then pursue treating the cause of the problem.
Scientists have proven that the energy of our thoughts, feelings and emotions can positively or negatively affect our DNA structure. We’ve all heard how someone taking a placebo is healed simply because they believe the medication (which actually has no medicinal value) will heal them.
The holistic approach treats the cause of illness with natural means to heal not just cover up symptoms. Holistic healing treats the whole individual not just parts of the body.

It’s a wellness approach that addresses the body, mind and spirit or the physical, emotional and spiritual aspects of an individual. Our bodies are always working to get back to a healthy balanced state, but sometimes we get in the way.
